Our Task Is Exclusively Eliminating' - How Sudan's Vicious Fighting Force Conducted a Mass Killing

Militiamen smirk as they move on the bed of a transport truck, hurrying by a series of nine corpses and heading facing the setting African sun.

"Observe all this effort. Observe this instance of genocide," one exclaims.

He smiles as he points the recording device on himself and his companion combatants, their paramilitary badges on display: "They are all going to die this way."

The combatants are celebrating a massacre that humanitarian officials fear resulted in the deaths of in excess of 2,000 civilians in the Sudan's city of the Darfur city last month.

An Urban Center Severed from the World

Following their control of the urban area under siege for nearly 24 months, from the summer the RSF proceeded to reinforce its position and blockade the remaining inhabitants.

Orbital photography show that troops commenced to build a massive berm - a raised sand barrier - encircling the edges of al-Fashir, sealing off entry points and blocking aid.

While the blockade intensified, multiple civilians were slain in an RSF attack on a place of worship on mid-September, while the international organization reported fifty-three further were killed in aerial and artillery strikes on a displacement camp in fall.

Disturbing Footage Reveals Defenseless People Executed

At dawn on October 26th the RSF defeated the final military defenses and captured the primary headquarters in the urban area, the command center of the Military Unit, as the army pulled back.

Perhaps the most horrific recordings to appear and studied depicted the aftermath of a massacre at a educational facility on the west of the community, where scores dead bodies were visible strewn throughout the ground.

A senior individual clad in a white tunic sat isolated surrounded by the victims. The man turned to glance as a combatant equipped with a rifle proceeded descending the steps facing the victim. pointing his weapon, the fighter discharged a one round at the individual, who dropped to the floor motionless.

"How come is this individual yet alive," another militiaman shouted. "Kill this person."

Orbital photography taken on late October appeared to confirm that shootings were furthermore carried out on the thoroughfares of el-Fasher, as reported by a study released by the university analysis team.

An observer who provided testimony stated they had seen "many of our relatives being killed - the victims were assembled in a specific area and all eliminated."

Militia Officers Seek to Carry Out Reputation Management

During the period that followed the killings, RSF leader admitted that his forces had committed "atrocities" and announced the incidents would be investigated.

Among those arrested was following a report recording his murders. Carefully choreographed and produced video published on the paramilitary's formal social media platform depict him being led into a cell at a detention facility on the outskirts of the city.

At the same time, the militia and connected social media channels commenced attempting to reshape the account.

Content presenting its combatants distributing assistance to residents were disseminated by several individuals, while the paramilitary's public relations unit shared numerous clips claiming to demonstrate the proper handling of military captives.

In spite of the social media initiative being employed by the RSF, their conduct in the city have generated global outrage.
